After their opening match victory against Hertfordshire, Norfolk followed up with victory over Essex at Braintree winning by 103 shots to 87 and taking 18 points thereby maintaining their unbeaten record in defence of the title.
Andy Siely’s rink led the way with a 11 shot victory with other wins secured by the rinks skipped by Aaron Johnson, Ian Catchpole & Chris Rowe. There was disappointment in the Junior’s League where the rink skipped by Matt Mills fell to an agonising 1 shot defeat.

Attention now turns to the Middleton Cup which begins on 6th June when Norfolk travel to Frinton-on- Sea to take on Essex and the selected team will be announced shortly and posted on the Inter County Games page on the website
