Shipdham moved a step closer to a place in next year’s Premier League with victory over the highly fancied Hempton ‘A’ in the WP Baker Cup League play offs last evening at Aldiss Park BC. They won by 6 points to 4 (64-44) to move into the semi-finals with former Welsh international, Richard Bowen skipping his rink which included his wife and former England international Lynne to a 27 shot victory.
