Last night saw the last round of matches in the County League all Zone winners have been decided

We now move on to the playoffs for WP Baker Cup & Hansells Cup (sponsored by Howdens Insurance)
In the WP Baker Cup, the teams are not only striving to take home the trophy but also a place in the Premier League next season. The preliminary round to be played at 6.15pm on Wednesday 5th August at Aldiss Park sees Hempton BC ‘A’, in their first season in the League, take on Shipdham BC.
The semi-finals then follow at on Sunday 9th August at Thorpe Recreation BC at 10.00am with the final to follow at approximately 2.00pm. The semi-finals line up is:
Hempton BC ‘A’ or Shipdham BC v Cawston BC
Gissing BC v County Arts BC ‘B’
As for the Hansells Cup, RG Carter Group BC qualified by finishing 2nd in North Zone but due to circumstances beyond their control will be unable to fulfil their fixtures, so Dickleburgh BC will progress to the semi-finals. The semi-finals will be held at Wymondham Dell BC on Saturday 22nd August at 10.00am as follows:
Hempton BC ‘B’ v Dickleburgh BC
Great Plumstead BC v Mundford Village BC
The final will follow at approximately 2.00pm
