In the blue riband Singles in a high quality final which saw a thrilling finish Jack Larter of County Arts took the title with a 21-20 victory over former winner Max Harrison. To add to title going to County Arts, Bill Brodie won the 2 bowl Singles by beating County President, Chris Rowe.
In his final year in the Junior events, Acle’s Ryan Fox took both Junior titles, partnering Harry Stone to the Pairs crown and then following this up with Singles title with a comeback win over Mundford’s Stan Turner.
Max Harrison’s disappointment in the Singles was tempered when he partnered Peter Boldero & Jack Wells to the Triples title over Matt Fox’s triple from St. Lawrence. Jack Wells then followed this up by partnering Matt Warnes to win the Pairs by beating Downham Market teammates Harry Cater & Peter Chestney.
In the Fours, Wayne Willgress added to his impressive list of County titles by skipping John Tufts, Neil Moulton & Richard Summers to the Fours title with a last end victory over Sam King’s Hempton quartet.
