Norfolk slipped to their 2nd successive defeat when they were beaten by Bedfordshire at Potton BC on Saturday by 101 shots to 72, picking up only 4 points. The result means that with just 1 match left to play Norfolk’s defence of the League title has come to an end with the 2026 title likely to be heading to Suffolk.
As for the match Norfolk started slowly with a deficit of 22 after only 5 ends and with the match reduced to 18 ends due to the extreme weather never got back into contention but did secure wins on the rinks skipped by Jack Larter & Bernie Perrett.
One silver lining was a hard earned victory by the Junior rink comprising Chris Barker, Harry Stone, Stan Turner & Ryan Fox.
